A vulnerability has been found in Linux Kernel and classified as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is the function area_cache_get of the file drivers/net/ethernet/netronome/nfp/nfpcore/nfp_cppcore.c of the component IPsec. The manipulation leads to use after free. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. The identifier VDB-211045 was assigned to this vulnerability.
CVE-2022-34918 4 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 1 more 13 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 10 more 2023-11-07 7.2 HIGH 7.8 HIGH
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel through 5.18.9. A type confusion bug in nft_set_elem_init (leading to a buffer overflow) could be used by a local attacker to escalate privileges, a different vulnerability than CVE-2022-32250. (The attacker can obtain root access, but must start with an unprivileged user namespace to obtain CAP_NET_ADMIN access.) This can be fixed in nft_setelem_parse_data in net/netfilter/nf_tables_api.c.
CVE-2022-32250 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more 13 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 10 more 2023-11-07 7.2 HIGH 7.8 HIGH
net/netfilter/nf_tables_api.c in the Linux kernel through 5.18.1 allows a local user (able to create user/net namespaces) to escalate privileges to root because an incorrect NFT_STATEFUL_EXPR check leads to a use-after-free.
CVE-2022-31160 5 Debian, Drupal, Fedoraproject and 2 more 15 Debian Linux, Jquery Ui Checkboxradio, Fedora and 12 more 2023-11-07 N/A 6.1 MEDIUM
jQuery UI is a curated set of user interface interactions, effects, widgets, and themes built on top of jQuery. Versions prior to 1.13.2 are potentially vulnerable to cross-site scripting. Initializing a checkboxradio widget on an input enclosed within a label makes that parent label contents considered as the input label. Calling `.checkboxradio( "refresh" )` on such a widget and the initial HTML contained encoded HTML entities will make them erroneously get decoded. This can lead to potentially executing JavaScript code. The bug has been patched in jQuery UI 1.13.2. To remediate the issue, someone who can change the initial HTML can wrap all the non-input contents of the `label` in a `span`.
CVE-2022-2873 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 2 more 14 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 11 more 2023-11-07 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
An out-of-bounds memory access flaw was found in the Linux kernel Intel’s iSMT SMBus host controller driver in the way a user triggers the I2C_SMBUS_BLOCK_DATA (with the ioctl I2C_SMBUS) with malicious input data. This flaw allows a local user to crash the system.
CVE-2022-29824 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 2 more 24 Debian Linux, Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager and 21 more 2023-11-07 4.3 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
In libxml2 before 2.9.14, several buffer handling functions in buf.c (xmlBuf*) and tree.c (xmlBuffer*) don't check for integer overflows. This can result in out-of-bounds memory writes. Exploitation requires a victim to open a crafted, multi-gigabyte XML file. Other software using libxml2's buffer functions, for example libxslt through 1.1.35, is affected as well.
CVE-2022-29968 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Netapp 13 Fedora, Linux Kernel, H300s and 10 more 2023-11-07 4.6 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel through 5.17.5. io_rw_init_file in fs/io_uring.c lacks initialization of kiocb->private.
CVE-2022-2274 2 Netapp, Openssl 12 H300s, H300s Firmware, H410c and 9 more 2023-11-07 10.0 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
The OpenSSL 3.0.4 release introduced a serious bug in the RSA implementation for X86_64 CPUs supporting the AVX512IFMA instructions. This issue makes the RSA implementation with 2048 bit private keys incorrect on such machines and memory corruption will happen during the computation. As a consequence of the memory corruption an attacker may be able to trigger a remote code execution on the machine performing the computation. SSL/TLS servers or other servers using 2048 bit RSA private keys running on machines supporting AVX512IFMA instructions of the X86_64 architecture are affected by this issue.
CVE-2022-28389 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more 19 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 16 more 2023-11-07 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
