CVE-2022-26306 | 2 Debian, Libreoffice | 2 Debian Linux, Libreoffice | 2023-07-11 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
LibreOffice supports the storage of passwords for web connections in the user’s configuration database. The stored passwords are encrypted with a single master key provided by the user. A flaw in LibreOffice existed where the required initialization vector for encryption was always the same which weakens the security of the encryption making them vulnerable if an attacker has access to the user's configuration data. This issue affects: The Document Foundation LibreOffice 7.2 versions prior to 7.2.7; 7.3 versions prior to 7.3.1.
CVE-2022-26307 | 2 Debian, Libreoffice | 2 Debian Linux, Libreoffice | 2023-07-11 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
LibreOffice supports the storage of passwords for web connections in the user’s configuration database. The stored passwords are encrypted with a single master key provided by the user. A flaw in LibreOffice existed where master key was poorly encoded resulting in weakening its entropy from 128 to 43 bits making the stored passwords vulerable to a brute force attack if an attacker has access to the users stored config. This issue affects: The Document Foundation LibreOffice 7.2 versions prior to 7.2.7; 7.3 versions prior to 7.3.3.

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel. Measuring usage of the shared memory does not scale with large shared memory segment counts which could lead to resource exhaustion and DoS.
CVE-2022-24720 | 2 Debian, Image Processing Project | 2 Debian Linux, Image Processing | 2023-07-03 | 10.0 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
image_processing is an image processing wrapper for libvips and ImageMagick/GraphicsMagick. Prior to version 1.12.2, using the `#apply` method from image_processing to apply a series of operations that are coming from unsanitized user input allows the attacker to execute shell commands. This method is called internally by Active Storage variants, so Active Storage is vulnerable as well. The vulnerability has been fixed in version 1.12.2 of image_processing. As a workaround, users who process based on user input should always sanitize the user input by allowing only a constrained set of operations.
CVE-2022-24754 | 2 Debian, Teluu | 2 Debian Linux, Pjsip | 2023-07-03 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
PJSIP is a free and open source multimedia communication library written in C language. In versions prior to and including 2.12 PJSIP there is a stack-buffer overflow vulnerability which only impacts PJSIP users who accept hashed digest credentials (credentials with data_type `PJSIP_CRED_DATA_DIGEST`). This issue has been patched in the master branch of the PJSIP repository and will be included with the next release. Users unable to upgrade need to check that the hashed digest data length must be equal to `PJSIP_MD5STRLEN` before passing to PJSIP.
CVE-2023-2911 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Isc and 1 more | 14 Debian Linux, Fedora, Bind and 11 more | 2023-07-03 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
If the `recursive-clients` quota is reached on a BIND 9 resolver configured with both `stale-answer-enable yes;` and `stale-answer-client-timeout 0;`, a sequence of serve-stale-related lookups could cause `named` to loop and terminate unexpectedly due to a stack overflow. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.16.33 through 9.16.41, 9.18.7 through 9.18.15, 9.16.33-S1 through 9.16.41-S1, and 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.15-S1.
CVE-2021-4189 | 4 Debian, Netapp, Python and 1 more | 5 Debian Linux, Ontap Select Deploy Administration Utility, Python and 2 more | 2023-06-30 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
A flaw was found in Python, specifically in the FTP (File Transfer Protocol) client library in PASV (passive) mode. The issue is how the FTP client trusts the host from the PASV response by default. This flaw allows an attacker to set up a malicious FTP server that can trick FTP clients into connecting back to a given IP address and port. This vulnerability could lead to FTP client scanning ports, which otherwise would not have been possible.
CVE-2022-31031 | 2 Debian, Teluu | 2 Debian Linux, Pjsip | 2023-06-29 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 9.8 CRITICAL |
PJSIP is a free and open source multimedia communication library written in C language implementing standard based protocols such as SIP, SDP, RTP, STUN, TURN, and ICE. In versions prior to and including 2.12.1 a stack buffer overflow vulnerability affects PJSIP users that use STUN in their applications, either by: setting a STUN server in their account/media config in PJSUA/PJSUA2 level, or directly using `pjlib-util/stun_simple` API. A patch is available in commit 450baca which should be included in the next release. There are no known workarounds for this issue.
CVE-2022-31085 | 2 Debian, Ldap-account-manager | 2 Debian Linux, Ldap Account Manager | 2023-06-29 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 6.1 MEDIUM |
LDAP Account Manager (LAM) is a webfrontend for managing entries (e.g. users, groups, DHCP settings) stored in an LDAP directory. In versions prior to 8.0 the session files include the LDAP user name and password in clear text if the PHP OpenSSL extension is not installed or encryption is disabled by configuration. This issue has been fixed in version 8.0. Users unable to upgrade should install the PHP OpenSSL extension and make sure session encryption is enabled in LAM main configuration.
CVE-2022-29599 | 2 Apache, Debian | 2 Maven Shared Utils, Debian Linux | 2023-06-28 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |

Improper Update of Reference Count vulnerability in net/sched of Linux Kernel allows local attacker to cause privilege escalation to root. This issue affects: Linux Kernel versions prior to 5.18; version 4.14 and later versions.
CVE-2022-1441 | 2 Debian, Gpac | 2 Debian Linux, Gpac | 2023-06-27 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 7.8 HIGH |
MP4Box is a component of GPAC-2.0.0, which is a widely-used third-party package on RPM Fusion. When MP4Box tries to parse a MP4 file, it calls the function `diST_box_read()` to read from video. In this function, it allocates a buffer `str` with fixed length. However, content read from `bs` is controllable by user, so is the length, which causes a buffer overflow.
CVE-2022-1516 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2023-06-27 | 4.9 MEDIUM | 5.5 MEDIUM |
A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s X.25 set of standardized network protocols functionality in the way a user terminates their session using a simulated Ethernet card and continued usage of this connection. This flaw allows a local user to crash the system.
CVE-2022-1922 | 2 Debian, Gstreamer Project | 2 Debian Linux, Gstreamer | 2023-06-27 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
DOS / potential heap overwrite in mkv demuxing using zlib decompression. Integer overflow in matroskademux element in gst_matroska_decompress_data function which causes a segfault, or could cause a heap overwrite, depending on libc and OS. Depending on the libc used, and the underlying OS capabilities, it could be just a segfault or a heap overwrite. If the libc uses mmap for large chunks, and the OS supports mmap, then it is just a segfault (because the realloc before the integer overflow will use mremap to reduce the size of the chunk, and it will start to write to unmapped memory). However, if using a libc implementation that does not use mmap, or if the OS does not support mmap while using libc, then this could result in a heap overwrite.
CVE-2022-1923 | 2 Debian, Gstreamer Project | 2 Debian Linux, Gstreamer | 2023-06-27 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
