CVE-2022-48926 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2024-08-23 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: rndis: add spinlock for rndis response list There's no lock for rndis response list. It could cause list corruption if there're two different list_add at the same time like below. It's better to add in rndis_add_response / rndis_free_response / rndis_get_next_response to prevent any race condition on response list. CVE-2022-48943 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2024-08-22 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86/mmu: make apf token non-zero to fix bug In current async pagefault logic, when a page is ready, KVM relies on kvm_arch_can_dequeue_async_page_present() to determine whether to deliver a READY event to the Guest. This function test token value of struct kvm_vcpu_pv_apf_data, which must be reset to zero by Guest kernel when a READY event is finished by Guest. If value is zero meaning that a READY event is done, so the KVM can deliver another. But the kvm_arch_setup_async_pf() may produce a valid token with zero value, which is confused with previous mention and may lead the loss of this READY event. This bug may cause task blocked forever in Guest: INFO: task stress:7532 blocked for more than 1254 seconds. Not tainted 5.10.0 #16 "echo 0 > /proc/sys/kernel/hung_task_timeout_secs" disables this message. task:stress state:D stack: 0 pid: 7532 ppid: 1409 flags:0x00000080 Call Trace: __schedule+0x1e7/0x650 schedule+0x46/0xb0 kvm_async_pf_task_wait_schedule+0xad/0xe0 ? exit_to_user_mode_prepare+0x60/0x70 __kvm_handle_async_pf+0x4f/0xb0 ? asm_exc_page_fault+0x8/0x30 exc_page_fault+0x6f/0x110 ? asm_exc_page_fault+0x8/0x30 asm_exc_page_fault+0x1e/0x30 RIP: 0033:0x402d00 RSP: 002b:00007ffd31912500 EFLAGS: 00010206 RAX: 0000000000071000 RBX: ffffffffffffffff RCX: 00000000021a32b0 RDX: 000000000007d011 RSI: 000000000007d000 RDI: 00000000021262b0 RBP: 00000000021262b0 R08: 0000000000000003 R09: 0000000000000086 R10: 00000000000000eb R11: 00007fefbdf2baa0 R12: 0000000000000000 R13: 0000000000000002 R14: 000000000007d000 R15: 0000000000001000
CVE-2023-24068 4 Apple, Linux, Microsoft and 1 more 4 Macos, Linux Kernel, Windows and 1 more 2024-08-22 N/A 7.8 HIGH
Signal Desktop before 6.2.0 on Windows, Linux, and macOS allows an attacker to modify conversation attachments within the attachments.noindex directory. Client mechanisms fail to validate modifications of existing cached files, resulting in an attacker's ability to insert malicious code into pre-existing attachments or replace them completely. A threat actor can forward the existing attachment in the corresponding conversation to external groups, and the name and size of the file will not change, allowing the malware to masquerade as another file. NOTE: the vendor disputes the relevance of this finding because the product is not intended to protect against adversaries with this degree of local access.
CVE-2022-30288 1 Ohler 1 Agoo 2024-08-22 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
Agoo before 2.14.3 does not reject GraphQL fragment spreads that form cycles, leading to an application crash. NOTE: the vendor has disputed this on the grounds that it is not the server's responsibility to "enforce all the various ways a developer could write code with logic errors.
CVE-2023-47234 1 Frrouting 1 Frrouting 2024-08-22 N/A 7.5 HIGH
An issue was discovered in FRRouting FRR through 9.0.1. A crash can occur when processing a crafted BGP UPDATE message with a MP_UNREACH_NLRI attribute and additional NLRI data (that lacks mandatory path attributes).
CVE-2024-41094 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2024-08-22 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/fbdev-dma: Only set smem_start is enable per module option Only export struct fb_info.fix.smem_start if that is required by the user and the memory does not come from vmalloc(). Setting struct fb_info.fix.smem_start breaks systems where DMA memory is backed by vmalloc address space. An example error is shown below. Resolve this by checking the module flag drm_leak_fbdev_smem when DRM allocated the instance of struct fb_info. Fbdev-dma then only sets smem_start only if required (via FBINFO_HIDE_SMEM_START). Also guarantee that the framebuffer is not located in vmalloc address space.
