CVE-2021-22174 | 3 Fedoraproject, Oracle, Wireshark | 3 Fedora, Zfs Storage Appliance, Wireshark | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
Crash in USB HID dissector in Wireshark 3.4.0 to 3.4.2 allows denial of service via packet injection or crafted capture file
CVE-2021-21409 | 5 Debian, Netapp, Netty and 2 more | 18 Debian Linux, Oncommand Api Services, Oncommand Workflow Automation and 15 more | 2023-11-07 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.9 MEDIUM |
Netty is an open-source, asynchronous event-driven network application framework for rapid development of maintainable high performance protocol servers & clients. In Netty (io.netty:netty-codec-http2) before version 4.1.61.Final there is a vulnerability that enables request smuggling. The content-length header is not correctly validated if the request only uses a single Http2HeaderFrame with the endStream set to to true. This could lead to request smuggling if the request is proxied to a remote peer and translated to HTTP/1.1. This is a followup of GHSA-wm47-8v5p-wjpj/CVE-2021-21295 which did miss to fix this one case. This was fixed as part of 4.1.61.Final.
CVE-2021-22884 | 5 Fedoraproject, Netapp, Nodejs and 2 more | 13 Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager, E-series Performance Analyzer and 10 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.1 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
Node.js before 10.24.0, 12.21.0, 14.16.0, and 15.10.0 is vulnerable to DNS rebinding attacks as the whitelist includes “localhost6”. When “localhost6” is not present in /etc/hosts, it is just an ordinary domain that is resolved via DNS, i.e., over network. If the attacker controls the victim's DNS server or can spoof its responses, the DNS rebinding protection can be bypassed by using the “localhost6” domain. As long as the attacker uses the “localhost6” domain, they can still apply the attack described in CVE-2018-7160.
CVE-2021-20718 | 3 Fedoraproject, Openidc, Oracle | 3 Fedora, Mod Auth Openidc, Essbase | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
mod_auth_openidc 2.4.0 to 2.4.7 allows a remote attacker to cause a denial-of-service (DoS) condition via unspecified vectors.
CVE-2021-21290 | 5 Debian, Netapp, Netty and 2 more | 13 Debian Linux, Active Iq Unified Manager, Cloud Secure Agent and 10 more | 2023-11-07 | 1.9 LOW | 5.5 MEDIUM |
Netty is an open-source, asynchronous event-driven network application framework for rapid development of maintainable high performance protocol servers & clients. In Netty before version 4.1.59.Final there is a vulnerability on Unix-like systems involving an insecure temp file. When netty's multipart decoders are used local information disclosure can occur via the local system temporary directory if temporary storing uploads on the disk is enabled. On unix-like systems, the temporary directory is shared between all user. As such, writing to this directory using APIs that do not explicitly set the file/directory permissions can lead to information disclosure. Of note, this does not impact modern MacOS Operating Systems. The method "File.createTempFile" on unix-like systems creates a random file, but, by default will create this file with the permissions "-rw-r--r--". Thus, if sensitive information is written to this file, other local users can read this information. This is the case in netty's "AbstractDiskHttpData" is vulnerable. This has been fixed in version 4.1.59.Final. As a workaround, one may specify your own "java.io.tmpdir" when you start the JVM or use "DefaultHttpDataFactory.setBaseDir(...)" to set the directory to something that is only readable by the current user.
CVE-2021-21295 | 6 Apache, Debian, Netapp and 3 more | 8 Kudu, Zookeeper, Debian Linux and 5 more | 2023-11-07 | 2.6 LOW | 5.9 MEDIUM |
Netty is an open-source, asynchronous event-driven network application framework for rapid development of maintainable high performance protocol servers & clients. In Netty (io.netty:netty-codec-http2) before version 4.1.60.Final there is a vulnerability that enables request smuggling. If a Content-Length header is present in the original HTTP/2 request, the field is not validated by `Http2MultiplexHandler` as it is propagated up. This is fine as long as the request is not proxied through as HTTP/1.1. If the request comes in as an HTTP/2 stream, gets converted into the HTTP/1.1 domain objects (`HttpRequest`, `HttpContent`, etc.) via `Http2StreamFrameToHttpObjectCodec `and then sent up to the child channel's pipeline and proxied through a remote peer as HTTP/1.1 this may result in request smuggling. In a proxy case, users may assume the content-length is validated somehow, which is not the case. If the request is forwarded to a backend channel that is a HTTP/1.1 connection, the Content-Length now has meaning and needs to be checked. An attacker can smuggle requests inside the body as it gets downgraded from HTTP/2 to HTTP/1.1. For an example attack refer to the linked GitHub Advisory. Users are only affected if all of this is true: `HTTP2MultiplexCodec` or `Http2FrameCodec` is used, `Http2StreamFrameToHttpObjectCodec` is used to convert to HTTP/1.1 objects, and these HTTP/1.1 objects are forwarded to another remote peer. This has been patched in 4.1.60.Final As a workaround, the user can do the validation by themselves by implementing a custom `ChannelInboundHandler` that is put in the `ChannelPipeline` behind `Http2StreamFrameToHttpObjectCodec`.

CVE-2020-9480 | 2 Apache, Oracle | 2 Spark, Business Intelligence | 2023-11-07 | 9.3 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
In Apache Spark 2.4.5 and earlier, a standalone resource manager's master may be configured to require authentication (spark.authenticate) via a shared secret. When enabled, however, a specially-crafted RPC to the master can succeed in starting an application's resources on the Spark cluster, even without the shared key. This can be leveraged to execute shell commands on the host machine. This does not affect Spark clusters using other resource managers (YARN, Mesos, etc).
CVE-2020-8287 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Nodejs and 2 more | 5 Debian Linux, Fedora, Node.js and 2 more | 2023-11-07 | 6.4 MEDIUM | 6.5 MEDIUM |
Node.js versions before 10.23.1, 12.20.1, 14.15.4, 15.5.1 allow two copies of a header field in an HTTP request (for example, two Transfer-Encoding header fields). In this case, Node.js identifies the first header field and ignores the second. This can lead to HTTP Request Smuggling.
CVE-2020-8277 | 4 C-ares Project, Fedoraproject, Nodejs and 1 more | 8 C-ares, Fedora, Node.js and 5 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
A Node.js application that allows an attacker to trigger a DNS request for a host of their choice could trigger a Denial of Service in versions < 15.2.1, < 14.15.1, and < 12.19.1 by getting the application to resolve a DNS record with a larger number of responses. This is fixed in 15.2.1, 14.15.1, and 12.19.1.
CVE-2020-9492 | 2 Apache, Oracle | 3 Hadoop, Solr, Financial Services Crime And Compliance Management Studio | 2023-11-07 | 6.5 MEDIUM | 8.8 HIGH |
In Apache Hadoop 3.2.0 to 3.2.1, 3.0.0-alpha1 to 3.1.3, and 2.0.0-alpha to 2.10.0, WebHDFS client might send SPNEGO authorization header to remote URL without proper verification.
CVE-2020-7595 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 32 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 29 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
xmlStringLenDecodeEntities in parser.c in libxml2 2.9.10 has an infinite loop in a certain end-of-file situation.
CVE-2020-8265 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Nodejs and 2 more | 5 Debian Linux, Fedora, Node.js and 2 more | 2023-11-07 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.1 HIGH |
Node.js versions before 10.23.1, 12.20.1, 14.15.4, 15.5.1 are vulnerable to a use-after-free bug in its TLS implementation. When writing to a TLS enabled socket, node::StreamBase::Write calls node::TLSWrap::DoWrite with a freshly allocated WriteWrap object as first argument. If the DoWrite method does not return an error, this object is passed back to the caller as part of a StreamWriteResult structure. This may be exploited to corrupt memory leading to a Denial of Service or potentially other exploits.
CVE-2020-9281 | 4 Ckeditor, Drupal, Fedoraproject and 1 more | 11 Ckeditor, Drupal, Fedora and 8 more | 2023-11-07 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 6.1 MEDIUM |
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the HTML Data Processor for CKEditor 4.0 before 4.14 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script through a crafted "protected" comment (with the cke_protected syntax).
CVE-2020-9490 | 7 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 4 more | 25 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 22 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
Apache HTTP Server versions 2.4.20 to 2.4.43. A specially crafted value for the 'Cache-Digest' header in a HTTP/2 request would result in a crash when the server actually tries to HTTP/2 PUSH a resource afterwards. Configuring the HTTP/2 feature via "H2Push off" will mitigate this vulnerability for unpatched servers.
CVE-2020-8554 | 2 Kubernetes, Oracle | 4 Kubernetes, Communications Cloud Native Core Network Slice Selection Function, Communications Cloud Native Core Policy and 1 more | 2023-11-07 | 6.0 MEDIUM | 5.0 MEDIUM |
Kubernetes API server in all versions allow an attacker who is able to create a ClusterIP service and set the spec.externalIPs field, to intercept traffic to that IP address. Additionally, an attacker who is able to patch the status (which is considered a privileged operation and should not typically be granted to users) of a LoadBalancer service can set the status.loadBalancer.ingress.ip to similar effect. |
