A flaw was found in unrestricted eBPF usage by the BPF_BTF_LOAD, leading to a possible out-of-bounds memory write in the Linux kernel’s BPF subsystem due to the way a user loads BTF. This flaw allows a local user to crash or escalate their privileges on the system.
CVE-2021-41182 7 Debian, Drupal, Fedoraproject and 4 more 37 Debian Linux, Drupal, Fedora and 34 more 2023-06-21 4.3 MEDIUM 6.1 MEDIUM
jQuery-UI is the official jQuery user interface library. Prior to version 1.13.0, accepting the value of the `altField` option of the Datepicker widget from untrusted sources may execute untrusted code. The issue is fixed in jQuery UI 1.13.0. Any string value passed to the `altField` option is now treated as a CSS selector. A workaround is to not accept the value of the `altField` option from untrusted sources.
CVE-2021-41183 7 Debian, Drupal, Fedoraproject and 4 more 36 Debian Linux, Drupal, Fedora and 33 more 2023-06-21 4.3 MEDIUM 6.1 MEDIUM
jQuery-UI is the official jQuery user interface library. Prior to version 1.13.0, accepting the value of various `*Text` options of the Datepicker widget from untrusted sources may execute untrusted code. The issue is fixed in jQuery UI 1.13.0. The values passed to various `*Text` options are now always treated as pure text, not HTML. A workaround is to not accept the value of the `*Text` options from untrusted sources.
CVE-2020-10732 4 Canonical, Linux, Netapp and 1 more 31 Ubuntu Linux, Linux Kernel, Active Iq Unified Manager and 28 more 2023-06-06 3.6 LOW 4.4 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's implementation of Userspace core dumps. This flaw allows an attacker with a local account to crash a trivial program and exfiltrate private kernel data.
CVE-2022-28893 3 Debian, Linux, Netapp 22 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, H300e and 19 more 2023-05-15 7.2 HIGH 7.8 HIGH
The SUNRPC subsystem in the Linux kernel through 5.17.2 can call xs_xprt_free before ensuring that sockets are in the intended state.
CVE-2021-42008 3 Debian, Linux, Netapp 20 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, H300e and 17 more 2023-05-12 6.9 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
The decode_data function in drivers/net/hamradio/6pack.c in the Linux kernel before 5.13.13 has a slab out-of-bounds write. Input from a process that has the CAP_NET_ADMIN capability can lead to root access.
CVE-2022-29156 2 Linux, Netapp 17 Linux Kernel, H300e, H300e Firmware and 14 more 2023-04-11 7.2 HIGH 7.8 HIGH
drivers/infiniband/ulp/rtrs/rtrs-clt.c in the Linux kernel before 5.16.12 has a double free related to rtrs_clt_dev_release.
CVE-2021-38300 3 Debian, Linux, Netapp 19 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Cloud Backup and 16 more 2023-03-01 7.2 HIGH 7.8 HIGH
arch/mips/net/bpf_jit.c in the Linux kernel before 5.4.10 can generate undesirable machine code when transforming unprivileged cBPF programs, allowing execution of arbitrary code within the kernel context. This occurs because conditional branches can exceed the 128 KB limit of the MIPS architecture.
CVE-2021-43057 2 Linux, Netapp 17 Linux Kernel, H300e, H300e Firmware and 14 more 2023-03-01 7.2 HIGH 7.8 HIGH
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.14.8. A use-after-free in selinux_ptrace_traceme (aka the SELinux handler for PTRACE_TRACEME) could be used by local attackers to cause memory corruption and escalate privileges, aka CID-a3727a8bac0a. This occurs because of an attempt to access the subjective credentials of another task.
CVE-2021-34866 2 Linux, Netapp 17 Linux Kernel, H300e, H300e Firmware and 14 more 2023-03-01 7.2 HIGH 7.8 HIGH
This vulnerability allows local attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of Linux Kernel 5.14-rc3. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the handling of eBPF programs. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied eBPF programs, which can result in a type confusion condition. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of the kernel. Was ZDI-CAN-14689.
CVE-2020-36387 2 Linux, Netapp 17 Linux Kernel, H300e, H300e Firmware and 14 more 2023-02-24 7.2 HIGH 7.8 HIGH
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.8.2. fs/io_uring.c has a use-after-free related to io_async_task_func and ctx reference holding, aka CID-6d816e088c35.
CVE-2021-45485 3 Linux, Netapp, Oracle 44 Linux Kernel, Aff A400, Aff A400 Firmware and 41 more 2023-02-24 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
In the IPv6 implementation in the Linux kernel before 5.13.3, net/ipv6/output_core.c has an information leak because of certain use of a hash table which, although big, doesn't properly consider that IPv6-based attackers can typically choose among many IPv6 source addresses.
CVE-2022-0435 5 Fedoraproject, Linux, Netapp and 2 more 37 Fedora, Linux Kernel, H300e and 34 more 2023-02-14 9.0 HIGH 8.8 HIGH
A stack overflow flaw was found in the Linux kernel's TIPC protocol functionality in the way a user sends a packet with malicious content where the number of domain member nodes is higher than the 64 allowed. This flaw allows a remote user to crash the system or possibly escalate their privileges if they have access to the TIPC network.
CVE-2020-35508 3 Linux, Netapp, Redhat 33 Linux Kernel, A700s, A700s Firmware and 30 more 2023-02-12 4.4 MEDIUM 4.5 MEDIUM
A flaw possibility of race condition and incorrect initialization of the process id was found in the Linux kernel child/parent process identification handling while filtering signal handlers. A local attacker is able to abuse this flaw to bypass checks to send any signal to a privileged process.
CVE-2020-25671 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more 23 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 20 more 2023-02-12 7.2 HIGH 7.8 HIGH
A vulnerability was found in Linux Kernel, where a refcount leak in llcp_sock_connect() causing use-after-free which might lead to privilege escalations.
