In jQuery versions greater than or equal to 1.2 and before 3.5.0, passing HTML from untrusted sources - even after sanitizing it - to one of jQuery's DOM manipulation methods (i.e. .html(), .append(), and others) may execute untrusted code. This problem is patched in jQuery 3.5.0.
CVE-2020-10683 5 Canonical, Dom4j Project, Netapp and 2 more 38 Ubuntu Linux, Dom4j, Oncommand Api Services and 35 more 2023-11-07 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
dom4j before 2.0.3 and 2.1.x before 2.1.3 allows external DTDs and External Entities by default, which might enable XXE attacks. However, there is popular external documentation from OWASP showing how to enable the safe, non-default behavior in any application that uses dom4j.
CVE-2020-11612 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 2 more 13 Debian Linux, Fedora, Oncommand Api Services and 10 more 2023-11-07 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
The ZlibDecoders in Netty 4.1.x before 4.1.46 allow for unbounded memory allocation while decoding a ZlibEncoded byte stream. An attacker could send a large ZlibEncoded byte stream to the Netty server, forcing the server to allocate all of its free memory to a single decoder.
CVE-2020-10690 6 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 3 more 33 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 30 more 2023-11-07 4.4 MEDIUM 6.4 MEDIUM
There is a use-after-free in kernel versions before 5.5 due to a race condition between the release of ptp_clock and cdev while resource deallocation. When a (high privileged) process allocates a ptp device file (like /dev/ptpX) and voluntarily goes to sleep. During this time if the underlying device is removed, it can cause an exploitable condition as the process wakes up to terminate and clean all attached files. The system crashes due to the cdev structure being invalid (as already freed) which is pointed to by the inode.
CVE-2020-10029 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more 12 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 9 more 2023-11-07 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
The GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) before 2.32 could overflow an on-stack buffer during range reduction if an input to an 80-bit long double function contains a non-canonical bit pattern, a seen when passing a 0x5d414141414141410000 value to sinl on x86 targets. This is related to sysdeps/ieee754/ldbl-96/e_rem_pio2l.c.
CVE-2019-9894 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 2 more 5 Debian Linux, Fedora, Oncommand Unified Manager and 2 more 2023-11-07 6.4 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
A remotely triggerable memory overwrite in RSA key exchange in PuTTY before 0.71 can occur before host key verification.
CVE-2019-9897 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 2 more 5 Debian Linux, Fedora, Oncommand Unified Manager and 2 more 2023-11-07 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
Multiple denial-of-service attacks that can be triggered by writing to the terminal exist in PuTTY versions before 0.71.
CVE-2019-6977 5 Canonical, Debian, Libgd and 2 more 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libgd and 2 more 2023-11-07 6.8 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
gdImageColorMatch in gd_color_match.c in the GD Graphics Library (aka LibGD) 2.2.5, as used in the imagecolormatch function in PHP before 5.6.40, 7.x before 7.1.26, 7.2.x before 7.2.14, and 7.3.x before 7.3.1, has a heap-based buffer overflow. This can be exploited by an attacker who is able to trigger imagecolormatch calls with crafted image data.
CVE-2019-9898 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 2 more 5 Debian Linux, Fedora, Oncommand Unified Manager and 2 more 2023-11-07 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
Potential recycling of random numbers used in cryptography exists within PuTTY before 0.71.
CVE-2019-6454 8 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more 22 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 19 more 2023-11-07 4.9 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
An issue was discovered in sd-bus in systemd 239. bus_process_object() in libsystemd/sd-bus/bus-objects.c allocates a variable-length stack buffer for temporarily storing the object path of incoming D-Bus messages. An unprivileged local user can exploit this by sending a specially crafted message to PID1, causing the stack pointer to jump over the stack guard pages into an unmapped memory region and trigger a denial of service (systemd PID1 crash and kernel panic).
CVE-2019-7221 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more 15 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 12 more 2023-11-07 4.6 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
The KVM implementation in the Linux kernel through 4.20.5 has a Use-after-Free.
CVE-2019-7222 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more 18 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 15 more 2023-11-07 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
The KVM implementation in the Linux kernel through 4.20.5 has an Information Leak.
CVE-2019-9946 3 Cncf, Kubernetes, Netapp 3 Portmap, Kubernetes, Cloud Insights 2023-11-07 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) CNI (Container Networking Interface) 0.7.4 has a network firewall misconfiguration which affects Kubernetes. The CNI 'portmap' plugin, used to setup HostPorts for CNI, inserts rules at the front of the iptables nat chains; which take precedence over the KUBE- SERVICES chain. Because of this, the HostPort/portmap rule could match incoming traffic even if there were better fitting, more specific service definition rules like NodePorts later in the chain. The issue is fixed in CNI 0.7.5 and Kubernetes 1.11.9, 1.12.7, 1.13.5, and 1.14.0.
CVE-2019-6109 9 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 6 more 28 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 25 more 2023-11-07 4.0 MEDIUM 6.8 MEDIUM
An issue was discovered in OpenSSH 7.9. Due to missing character encoding in the progress display, a malicious server (or Man-in-The-Middle attacker) can employ crafted object names to manipulate the client output, e.g., by using ANSI control codes to hide additional files being transferred. This affects refresh_progress_meter() in progressmeter.c.
CVE-2019-8936 5 Fedoraproject, Hpe, Netapp and 2 more 6 Fedora, Hpux-ntp, Clustered Data Ontap and 3 more 2023-11-07 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
NTP through 4.2.8p12 has a NULL Pointer Dereference.
CVE-2019-9169 4 Canonical, Gnu, Mcafee and 1 more 6 Ubuntu Linux, Glibc, Web Gateway and 3 more 2023-11-07 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
In the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) through 2.29, proceed_next_node in posix/regexec.c has a heap-based buffer over-read via an attempted case-insensitive regular-expression match.
CVE-2019-5188 6 Canonical, Debian, E2fsprogs Project and 3 more 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, E2fsprogs and 5 more 2023-11-07 4.4 MEDIUM 6.7 MEDIUM
A code execution vulnerability exists in the directory rehashing functionality of E2fsprogs e2fsck 1.45.4. A specially crafted ext4 directory can cause an out-of-bounds write on the stack, resulting in code execution. An attacker can corrupt a partition to trigger this vulnerability.
