CVE-2020-25097 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 1 more 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Cloud Manager and 1 more 2023-11-07 5.0 MEDIUM 8.6 HIGH
An issue was discovered in Squid through 4.13 and 5.x through 5.0.4. Due to improper input validation, it allows a trusted client to perform HTTP Request Smuggling and access services otherwise forbidden by the security controls. This occurs for certain uri_whitespace configuration settings.
CVE-2020-27749 4 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Netapp and 1 more 8 Fedora, Grub2, Ontap Select Deploy Administration Utility and 5 more 2023-11-07 7.2 HIGH 6.7 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in grub2 in versions prior to 2.06. Variable names present are expanded in the supplied command line into their corresponding variable contents, using a 1kB stack buffer for temporary storage, without sufficient bounds checking. If the function is called with a command line that references a variable with a sufficiently large payload, it is possible to overflow the stack buffer, corrupt the stack frame and control execution which could also circumvent Secure Boot protections. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.
CVE-2020-25647 4 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Netapp and 1 more 8 Fedora, Grub2, Ontap Select Deploy Administration Utility and 5 more 2023-11-07 7.2 HIGH 7.6 HIGH
A flaw was found in grub2 in versions prior to 2.06. During USB device initialization, descriptors are read with very little bounds checking and assumes the USB device is providing sane values. If properly exploited, an attacker could trigger memory corruption leading to arbitrary code execution allowing a bypass of the Secure Boot mechanism. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.
CVE-2020-26116 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 6 more 2023-11-07 6.4 MEDIUM 7.2 HIGH
http.client in Python 3.x before 3.5.10, 3.6.x before 3.6.12, 3.7.x before 3.7.9, and 3.8.x before 3.8.5 allows CRLF injection if the attacker controls the HTTP request method, as demonstrated by inserting CR and LF control characters in the first argument of HTTPConnection.request.
CVE-2020-1935 6 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 3 more 20 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 17 more 2023-11-07 5.8 MEDIUM 4.8 MEDIUM
In Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.30, 8.5.0 to 8.5.50 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.99 the HTTP header parsing code used an approach to end-of-line parsing that allowed some invalid HTTP headers to be parsed as valid. This led to a possibility of HTTP Request Smuggling if Tomcat was located behind a reverse proxy that incorrectly handled the invalid Transfer-Encoding header in a particular manner. Such a reverse proxy is considered unlikely.
CVE-2020-1730 6 Canonical, Fedoraproject, Libssh and 3 more 6 Ubuntu Linux, Fedora, Libssh and 3 more 2023-11-07 5.0 MEDIUM 5.3 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in libssh versions before 0.8.9 and before 0.9.4 in the way it handled AES-CTR (or DES ciphers if enabled) ciphers. The server or client could crash when the connection hasn't been fully initialized and the system tries to cleanup the ciphers when closing the connection. The biggest threat from this vulnerability is system availability.
CVE-2020-17521 3 Apache, Netapp, Oracle 21 Atlas, Groovy, Snapcenter and 18 more 2023-11-07 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
Apache Groovy provides extension methods to aid with creating temporary directories. Prior to this fix, Groovy's implementation of those extension methods was using a now superseded Java JDK method call that is potentially not secure on some operating systems in some contexts. Users not using the extension methods mentioned in the advisory are not affected, but may wish to read the advisory for further details. Versions Affected: 2.0 to 2.4.20, 2.5.0 to 2.5.13, 3.0.0 to 3.0.6, and 4.0.0-alpha-1. Fixed in versions 2.4.21, 2.5.14, 3.0.7, 4.0.0-alpha-2.
CVE-2020-1967 10 Broadcom, Debian, Fedoraproject and 7 more 26 Fabric Operating System, Debian Linux, Fedora and 23 more 2023-11-07 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
Server or client applications that call the SSL_check_chain() function during or after a TLS 1.3 handshake may crash due to a NULL pointer dereference as a result of incorrect handling of the "signature_algorithms_cert" TLS extension. The crash occurs if an invalid or unrecognised signature algorithm is received from the peer. This could be exploited by a malicious peer in a Denial of Service attack. OpenSSL version 1.1.1d, 1.1.1e, and 1.1.1f are affected by this issue. This issue did not affect OpenSSL versions prior to 1.1.1d. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1g (Affected 1.1.1d-1.1.1f).
CVE-2020-1927 8 Apache, Broadcom, Canonical and 5 more 14 Http Server, Brocade Fabric Operating System, Ubuntu Linux and 11 more 2023-11-07 5.8 MEDIUM 6.1 MEDIUM
In Apache HTTP Server 2.4.0 to 2.4.41, redirects configured with mod_rewrite that were intended to be self-referential might be fooled by encoded newlines and redirect instead to an an unexpected URL within the request URL.
CVE-2020-17527 4 Apache, Debian, Netapp and 1 more 12 Tomcat, Debian Linux, Element Plug-in and 9 more 2023-11-07 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
While investigating bug 64830 it was discovered that Apache Tomcat 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0-M9, 9.0.0-M1 to 9.0.39 and 8.5.0 to 8.5.59 could re-use an HTTP request header value from the previous stream received on an HTTP/2 connection for the request associated with the subsequent stream. While this would most likely lead to an error and the closure of the HTTP/2 connection, it is possible that information could leak between requests.
CVE-2020-1954 3 Apache, Netapp, Oracle 10 Cxf, Oncommand Workflow Automation, Snapmanager and 7 more 2023-11-07 2.9 LOW 5.3 MEDIUM
Apache CXF has the ability to integrate with JMX by registering an InstrumentationManager extension with the CXF bus. If the ‘createMBServerConnectorFactory‘ property of the default InstrumentationManagerImpl is not disabled, then it is vulnerable to a man-in-the-middle (MITM) style attack. An attacker on the same host can connect to the registry and rebind the entry to another server, thus acting as a proxy to the original. They are then able to gain access to all of the information that is sent and received over JMX.
CVE-2020-1752 4 Canonical, Debian, Gnu and 1 more 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Glibc and 6 more 2023-11-07 3.7 LOW 7.0 HIGH
A use-after-free vulnerability introduced in glibc upstream version 2.14 was found in the way the tilde expansion was carried out. Directory paths containing an initial tilde followed by a valid username were affected by this issue. A local attacker could exploit this flaw by creating a specially crafted path that, when processed by the glob function, would potentially lead to arbitrary code execution. This was fixed in version 2.32.
CVE-2020-16592 3 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Netapp 3 Fedora, Binutils, Ontap Select Deploy Administration Utility 2023-11-07 4.3 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM

CVE-2020-16590 2 Gnu, Netapp 2 Binutils, Ontap Select Deploy Administration Utility 2023-11-07 4.3 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
A double free vulnerability exists in the Binary File Descriptor (BFD) (aka libbrd) in GNU Binutils 2.35 in the process_symbol_table, as demonstrated in readelf, via a crafted file.
CVE-2020-16166 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more 16 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 13 more 2023-11-07 4.3 MEDIUM 3.7 LOW
The Linux kernel through 5.7.11 allows remote attackers to make observations that help to obtain sensitive information about the internal state of the network RNG, aka CID-f227e3ec3b5c. This is related to drivers/char/random.c and kernel/time/timer.c.
CVE-2020-16599 2 Gnu, Netapp 5 Binutils, Cloud Backup, Hci Management Node and 2 more 2023-11-07 4.3 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
A Null Pointer Dereference vulnerability exists in the Binary File Descriptor (BFD) library (aka libbfd), as distributed in GNU Binutils 2.35, in _bfd_elf_get_symbol_version_string, as demonstrated in nm-new, that can cause a denial of service via a crafted file.
CVE-2020-14372 4 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Netapp and 1 more 9 Fedora, Grub2, Cloud Backup and 6 more 2023-11-07 6.2 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
A flaw was found in grub2 in versions prior to 2.06, where it incorrectly enables the usage of the ACPI command when Secure Boot is enabled. This flaw allows an attacker with privileged access to craft a Secondary System Description Table (SSDT) containing code to overwrite the Linux kernel lockdown variable content directly into memory. The table is further loaded and executed by the kernel, defeating its Secure Boot lockdown and allowing the attacker to load unsigned code. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity, as well as system availability.
CVE-2020-13938 4 Apache, Mcafee, Microsoft and 1 more 4 Http Server, Epolicy Orchestrator, Windows and 1 more 2023-11-07 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
