CVE-2019-3855 8 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more 14 Xcode, Debian Linux, Fedora and 11 more 2023-11-07 9.3 HIGH 8.8 HIGH
An integer overflow flaw which could lead to an out of bounds write was discovered in libssh2 before 1.8.1 in the way packets are read from the server. A remote attacker who compromises a SSH server may be able to execute code on the client system when a user connects to the server.
CVE-2019-3856 7 Debian, Fedoraproject, Libssh2 and 4 more 13 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libssh2 and 10 more 2023-11-07 6.8 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
An integer overflow flaw, which could lead to an out of bounds write, was discovered in libssh2 before 1.8.1 in the way keyboard prompt requests are parsed. A remote attacker who compromises a SSH server may be able to execute code on the client system when a user connects to the server.
CVE-2019-1559 13 Canonical, Debian, F5 and 10 more 90 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Big-ip Access Policy Manager and 87 more 2023-11-07 4.3 MEDIUM 5.9 MEDIUM
If an application encounters a fatal protocol error and then calls SSL_shutdown() twice (once to send a close_notify, and once to receive one) then OpenSSL can respond differently to the calling application if a 0 byte record is received with invalid padding compared to if a 0 byte record is received with an invalid MAC. If the application then behaves differently based on that in a way that is detectable to the remote peer, then this amounts to a padding oracle that could be used to decrypt data. In order for this to be exploitable "non-stitched" ciphersuites must be in use. Stitched ciphersuites are optimised implementations of certain commonly used ciphersuites. Also the application must call SSL_shutdown() twice even if a protocol error has occurred (applications should not do this but some do anyway). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2r (Affected 1.0.2-1.0.2q).
CVE-2019-1551 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 6 more 2023-11-07 5.0 MEDIUM 5.3 MEDIUM
There is an overflow bug in the x64_64 Montgomery squaring procedure used in exponentiation with 512-bit moduli. No EC algorithms are affected. Analysis suggests that attacks against 2-prime RSA1024, 3-prime RSA1536, and DSA1024 as a result of this defect would be very difficult to perform and are not believed likely. Attacks against DH512 are considered just feasible. However, for an attack the target would have to re-use the DH512 private key, which is not recommended anyway. Also applications directly using the low level API BN_mod_exp may be affected if they use BN_FLG_CONSTTIME. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1e (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1d). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2u (Affected 1.0.2-1.0.2t).
CVE-2019-17195 3 Apache, Connect2id, Oracle 15 Hadoop, Nimbus Jose\+jwt, Communications Cloud Native Core Security Edge Protection Proxy and 12 more 2023-11-07 6.8 MEDIUM 9.8 CRITICAL
Connect2id Nimbus JOSE+JWT before v7.9 can throw various uncaught exceptions while parsing a JWT, which could result in an application crash (potential information disclosure) or a potential authentication bypass.
CVE-2019-16056 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more 10 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 7 more 2023-11-07 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
An issue was discovered in Python through 2.7.16, 3.x through 3.5.7, 3.6.x through 3.6.9, and 3.7.x through 3.7.4. The email module wrongly parses email addresses that contain multiple @ characters. An application that uses the email module and implements some kind of checks on the From/To headers of a message could be tricked into accepting an email address that should be denied. An attack may be the same as in CVE-2019-11340; however, this CVE applies to Python more generally.
CVE-2019-12415 2 Apache, Oracle 27 Poi, Application Testing Suite, Banking Enterprise Originations and 24 more 2023-11-07 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
In Apache POI up to 4.1.0, when using the tool XSSFExportToXml to convert user-provided Microsoft Excel documents, a specially crafted document can allow an attacker to read files from the local filesystem or from internal network resources via XML External Entity (XXE) Processing.
CVE-2019-10086 6 Apache, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more 60 Commons Beanutils, Nifi, Debian Linux and 57 more 2023-11-07 7.5 HIGH 7.3 HIGH
In Apache Commons Beanutils 1.9.2, a special BeanIntrospector class was added which allows suppressing the ability for an attacker to access the classloader via the class property available on all Java objects. We, however were not using this by default characteristic of the PropertyUtilsBean.
CVE-2019-0228 3 Apache, Fedoraproject, Oracle 14 James, Pdfbox, Fedora and 11 more 2023-11-07 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
Apache PDFBox 2.0.14 does not properly initialize the XML parser, which allows context-dependent attackers to conduct XML External Entity (XXE) attacks via a crafted XFDF.
CVE-2018-5407 7 Canonical, Debian, Nodejs and 4 more 20 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Node.js and 17 more 2023-11-07 1.9 LOW 4.7 MEDIUM
Simultaneous Multi-threading (SMT) in processors can enable local users to exploit software vulnerable to timing attacks via a side-channel timing attack on 'port contention'.
CVE-2018-0735 6 Canonical, Debian, Netapp and 3 more 23 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Cloud Backup and 20 more 2023-11-07 4.3 MEDIUM 5.9 MEDIUM
The OpenSSL ECDSA signature algorithm has been shown to be vulnerable to a timing side channel attack. An attacker could use variations in the signing algorithm to recover the private key. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.0j (Affected 1.1.0-1.1.0i). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1a (Affected 1.1.1).
CVE-2018-0734 6 Canonical, Debian, Netapp and 3 more 20 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Cloud Backup and 17 more 2023-11-07 4.3 MEDIUM 5.9 MEDIUM
The OpenSSL DSA signature algorithm has been shown to be vulnerable to a timing side channel attack. An attacker could use variations in the signing algorithm to recover the private key. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1a (Affected 1.1.1). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.0j (Affected 1.1.0-1.1.0i). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2q (Affected 1.0.2-1.0.2p).
CVE-2017-15708 2 Apache, Oracle 3 Synapse, Financial Services Market Risk Measurement And Management, Peoplesoft Enterprise Peopletools 2023-11-07 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
In Apache Synapse, by default no authentication is required for Java Remote Method Invocation (RMI). So Apache Synapse 3.0.1 or all previous releases (3.0.0, 2.1.0, 2.0.0, 1.2, 1.1.2, 1.1.1) allows remote code execution attacks that can be performed by injecting specially crafted serialized objects. And the presence of Apache Commons Collections 3.2.1 (commons-collections-3.2.1.jar) or previous versions in Synapse distribution makes this exploitable. To mitigate the issue, we need to limit RMI access to trusted users only. Further upgrading to 3.0.1 version will eliminate the risk of having said Commons Collection version. In Synapse 3.0.1, Commons Collection has been updated to 3.2.2 version.
CVE-2015-9251 2 Jquery, Oracle 47 Jquery, Agile Product Lifecycle Management For Process, Banking Platform and 44 more 2023-11-07 4.3 MEDIUM 6.1 MEDIUM
jQuery before 3.0.0 is vulnerable to Cross-site Scripting (XSS) attacks when a cross-domain Ajax request is performed without the dataType option, causing text/javascript responses to be executed.
CVE-2015-3197 2 Openssl, Oracle 6 Openssl, Exalogic Infrastructure, Oss Support Tools and 3 more 2023-11-07 4.3 MEDIUM 5.9 MEDIUM
ssl/s2_srvr.c in OpenSSL 1.0.1 before 1.0.1r and 1.0.2 before 1.0.2f does not prevent use of disabled ciphers, which makes it easier for man-in-the-middle attackers to defeat cryptographic protection mechanisms by performing computations on SSLv2 traffic, related to the get_client_master_key and get_client_hello functions.
CVE-2023-22080 1 Oracle 1 Peoplesoft Enterprise Peopletools 2023-10-23 N/A 6.1 MEDIUM
Vulnerability in the PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools product of Oracle PeopleSoft (component: PIA Core Technology). Supported versions that are affected are 8.59 and 8.60. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and while the vulnerability is in PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools accessible data as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 6.1 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N).
CVE-2021-41184 6 Drupal, Fedoraproject, Jqueryui and 3 more 35 Drupal, Fedora, Jquery Ui and 32 more 2023-08-11 4.3 MEDIUM 6.1 MEDIUM
jQuery-UI is the official jQuery user interface library. Prior to version 1.13.0, accepting the value of the `of` option of the `.position()` util from untrusted sources may execute untrusted code. The issue is fixed in jQuery UI 1.13.0. Any string value passed to the `of` option is now treated as a CSS selector. A workaround is to not accept the value of the `of` option from untrusted sources.
CVE-2022-23437 3 Apache, Netapp, Oracle 29 Xerces-j, Active Iq Unified Manager, Agile Engineering Data Management and 26 more 2023-08-08 7.1 HIGH 6.5 MEDIUM
There's a vulnerability within the Apache Xerces Java (XercesJ) XML parser when handling specially crafted XML document payloads. This causes, the XercesJ XML parser to wait in an infinite loop, which may sometimes consume system resources for prolonged duration. This vulnerability is present within XercesJ version 2.12.1 and the previous versions.
CVE-2020-8908 4 Google, Netapp, Oracle and 1 more 13 Guava, Active Iq Unified Manager, Commerce Guided Search and 10 more 2023-08-02 2.1 LOW 3.3 LOW
A temp directory creation vulnerability exists in all versions of Guava, allowing an attacker with access to the machine to potentially access data in a temporary directory created by the Guava API com.google.common.io.Files.createTempDir(). By default, on unix-like systems, the created directory is world-readable (readable by an attacker with access to the system). The method in question has been marked @Deprecated in versions 30.0 and later and should not be used. For Android developers, we recommend choosing a temporary directory API provided by Android, such as context.getCacheDir(). For other Java developers, we recommend migrating to the Java 7 API java.nio.file.Files.createTempDirectory() which explicitly configures permissions of 700, or configuring the Java runtime's java.io.tmpdir system property to point to a location whose permissions are appropriately configured.
CVE-2020-7656 4 Jquery, Juniper, Netapp and 1 more 7 Jquery, Junos, Active Iq Unified Manager and 4 more 2023-06-22 4.3 MEDIUM 6.1 MEDIUM
jquery prior to 1.9.0 allows Cross-site Scripting attacks via the load method. The load method fails to recognize and remove "<script>" HTML tags that contain a whitespace character, i.e: "</script >", which results in the enclosed script logic to be executed.
