CVE-2018-6560 2 Flatpak, Redhat 7 Flatpak, Enterprise Linux Desktop, Enterprise Linux Server and 4 more 2019-10-03 4.6 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
In dbus-proxy/flatpak-proxy.c in Flatpak before 0.8.9, and 0.9.x and 0.10.x before 0.10.3, crafted D-Bus messages to the host can be used to break out of the sandbox, because whitespace handling in the proxy is not identical to whitespace handling in the daemon.
CVE-2017-3143 3 Debian, Isc, Redhat 8 Debian Linux, Bind, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 5 more 2019-10-03 4.3 MEDIUM 5.9 MEDIUM
An attacker who is able to send and receive messages to an authoritative DNS server and who has knowledge of a valid TSIG key name for the zone and service being targeted may be able to manipulate BIND into accepting an unauthorized dynamic update. Affects BIND 9.4.0->9.8.8, 9.9.0->9.9.10-P1, 9.10.0->9.10.5-P1, 9.11.0->9.11.1-P1, 9.9.3-S1->9.9.10-S2, 9.10.5-S1->9.10.5-S2.
CVE-2017-17405 3 Debian, Redhat, Ruby-lang 8 Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop, Enterprise Linux Server and 5 more 2019-09-19 9.3 HIGH 8.8 HIGH
Ruby before 2.4.3 allows Net::FTP command injection. Net::FTP#get, getbinaryfile, gettextfile, put, putbinaryfile, and puttextfile use Kernel#open to open a local file. If the localfile argument starts with the "|" pipe character, the command following the pipe character is executed. The default value of localfile is File.basename(remotefile), so malicious FTP servers could cause arbitrary command execution.
CVE-2017-3142 3 Debian, Isc, Redhat 8 Debian Linux, Bind, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 5 more 2019-08-30 4.3 MEDIUM 3.7 LOW
An attacker who is able to send and receive messages to an authoritative DNS server and who has knowledge of a valid TSIG key name may be able to circumvent TSIG authentication of AXFR requests via a carefully constructed request packet. A server that relies solely on TSIG keys for protection with no other ACL protection could be manipulated into: providing an AXFR of a zone to an unauthorized recipient or accepting bogus NOTIFY packets. Affects BIND 9.4.0->9.8.8, 9.9.0->9.9.10-P1, 9.10.0->9.10.5-P1, 9.11.0->9.11.1-P1, 9.9.3-S1->9.9.10-S2, 9.10.5-S1->9.10.5-S2.
CVE-2018-1126 5 Canonical, Debian, Procps-ng Project and 2 more 10 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Procps-ng and 7 more 2019-07-30 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
procps-ng before version 3.3.15 is vulnerable to an incorrect integer size in proc/alloc.* leading to truncation/integer overflow issues. This flaw is related to CVE-2018-1124.
CVE-2014-8567 2 Redhat, Uninett 7 Enterprise Linux Desktop, Enterprise Linux Server, Enterprise Linux Server Aus and 4 more 2019-07-09 9.4 HIGH N/A
The mod_auth_mellon module before 0.8.1 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (Apache HTTP server crash) via a crafted logout request that triggers a read of uninitialized data.
CVE-2017-10978 3 Debian, Freeradius, Redhat 8 Debian Linux, Freeradius, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 5 more 2019-07-03 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
An FR-GV-201 issue in FreeRADIUS 2.x before 2.2.10 and 3.x before 3.0.15 allows "Read / write overflow in make_secret()" and a denial of service.
CVE-2018-10850 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Redhat 9 Debian Linux, 389 Directory Server, Enterprise Linux and 6 more 2019-05-15 7.1 HIGH 5.9 MEDIUM
389-ds-base before versions 1.4.0.10, 1.3.8.3 is vulnerable to a race condition in the way 389-ds-base handles persistent search, resulting in a crash if the server is under load. An anonymous attacker could use this flaw to trigger a denial of service.

CVE-2017-14064 4 Canonical, Debian, Redhat and 1 more 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 6 more 2019-05-13 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
Ruby through 2.2.7, 2.3.x through 2.3.4, and 2.4.x through 2.4.1 can expose arbitrary memory during a JSON.generate call. The issues lies in using strdup in ext/json/ext/generator/generator.c, which will stop after encountering a '\0' byte, returning a pointer to a string of length zero, which is not the length stored in space_len.
CVE-2019-11235 5 Canonical, Fedoraproject, Freeradius and 2 more 10 Ubuntu Linux, Fedora, Freeradius and 7 more 2019-05-13 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
FreeRADIUS before 3.0.19 mishandles the "each participant verifies that the received scalar is within a range, and that the received group element is a valid point on the curve being used" protection mechanism, aka a "Dragonblood" issue, a similar issue to CVE-2019-9498 and CVE-2019-9499.

CVE-2015-5740 3 Fedoraproject, Golang, Redhat 6 Fedora, Go, Enterprise Linux Server and 3 more 2019-05-09 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
The net/http library in net/http/transfer.go in Go before 1.4.3 does not properly parse HTTP headers, which allows remote attackers to conduct HTTP request smuggling attacks via a request with two Content-length headers.
CVE-2017-3157 3 Apache, Debian, Redhat 8 Openoffice, Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 5 more 2019-05-08 4.3 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
By exploiting the way Apache OpenOffice before 4.1.4 renders embedded objects, an attacker could craft a document that allows reading in a file from the user's filesystem. Information could be retrieved by the attacker by, e.g., using hidden sections to store the information, tricking the user into saving the document and convincing the user to send the document back to the attacker. The vulnerability is mitigated by the need for the attacker to know the precise file path in the target system, and the need to trick the user into saving the document and sending it back.
CVE-2017-1000410 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 9 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 6 more 2019-04-08 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
The Linux kernel version 3.3-rc1 and later is affected by a vulnerability lies in the processing of incoming L2CAP commands - ConfigRequest, and ConfigResponse messages. This info leak is a result of uninitialized stack variables that may be returned to an attacker in their uninitialized state. By manipulating the code flows that precede the handling of these configuration messages, an attacker can also gain some control over which data will be held in the uninitialized stack variables. This can allow him to bypass KASLR, and stack canaries protection - as both pointers and stack canaries may be leaked in this manner. Combining this vulnerability (for example) with the previously disclosed RCE vulnerability in L2CAP configuration parsing (CVE-2017-1000251) may allow an attacker to exploit the RCE against kernels which were built with the above mitigations. These are the specifics of this vulnerability: In the function l2cap_parse_conf_rsp and in the function l2cap_parse_conf_req the following variable is declared without initialization: struct l2cap_conf_efs efs; In addition, when parsing input configuration parameters in both of these functions, the switch case for handling EFS elements may skip the memcpy call that will write to the efs variable: ... case L2CAP_CONF_EFS: if (olen == sizeof(efs)) memcpy(&efs, (void *)val, olen); ... The olen in the above if is attacker controlled, and regardless of that if, in both of these functions the efs variable would eventually be added to the outgoing configuration request that is being built: l2cap_add_conf_opt(&ptr, L2CAP_CONF_EFS, sizeof(efs), (unsigned long) &efs); So by sending a configuration request, or response, that contains an L2CAP_CONF_EFS element, but with an element length that is not sizeof(efs) - the memcpy to the uninitialized efs variable can be avoided, and the uninitialized variable would be returned to the attacker (16 bytes).
