CVE-2017-16997 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 4 Glibc, Enterprise Linux Desktop, Enterprise Linux Server and 1 more | 2020-10-15 | 9.3 HIGH | 7.8 HIGH |
elf/dl-load.c in the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) 2.19 through 2.26 mishandles RPATH and RUNPATH containing $ORIGIN for a privileged (setuid or AT_SECURE) program, which allows local users to gain privileges via a Trojan horse library in the current working directory, related to the fillin_rpath and decompose_rpath functions. This is associated with misinterpretion of an empty RPATH/RUNPATH token as the "./" directory. NOTE: this configuration of RPATH/RUNPATH for a privileged program is apparently very uncommon; most likely, no such program is shipped with any common Linux distribution.
CVE-2019-10168 | 1 Redhat | 9 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop, Enterprise Linux Server and 6 more | 2020-10-15 | 4.6 MEDIUM | 7.8 HIGH |
The virConnectBaselineHypervisorCPU() and virConnectCompareHypervisorCPU() libvirt APIs, 4.x.x before 4.10.1 and 5.x.x before 5.4.1, accept an "emulator" argument to specify the program providing emulation for a domain. Since v1.2.19, libvirt will execute that program to probe the domain's capabilities. Read-only clients could specify an arbitrary path for this argument, causing libvirtd to execute a crafted executable with its own privileges.
CVE-2015-5160 | 2 Libvirt, Redhat | 10 Libvirt, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 7 more | 2020-10-15 | 2.1 LOW | 5.5 MEDIUM |
libvirt before 2.2 includes Ceph credentials on the qemu command line when using RADOS Block Device (aka RBD), which allows local users to obtain sensitive information via a process listing.
CVE-2017-1000366 | 8 Debian, Gnu, Mcafee and 5 more | 20 Debian Linux, Glibc, Web Gateway and 17 more | 2020-10-15 | 7.2 HIGH | 7.8 HIGH |
glibc contains a vulnerability that allows specially crafted LD_LIBRARY_PATH values to manipulate the heap/stack, causing them to alias, potentially resulting in arbitrary code execution. Please note that additional hardening changes have been made to glibc to prevent manipulation of stack and heap memory but these issues are not directly exploitable, as such they have not been given a CVE. This affects glibc 2.25 and earlier.
CVE-2017-18344 | 3 Canonical, Linux, Redhat | 9 Ubuntu Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 6 more | 2020-10-15 | 2.1 LOW | 5.5 MEDIUM |
The timer_create syscall implementation in kernel/time/posix-timers.c in the Linux kernel before 4.14.8 doesn't properly validate the sigevent->sigev_notify field, which leads to out-of-bounds access in the show_timer function (called when /proc/$PID/timers is read). This allows userspace applications to read arbitrary kernel memory (on a kernel built with CONFIG_POSIX_TIMERS and CONFIG_CHECKPOINT_RESTORE).
CVE-2019-10167 | 1 Redhat | 9 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop, Enterprise Linux Server and 6 more | 2020-10-15 | 4.6 MEDIUM | 7.8 HIGH |
The virConnectGetDomainCapabilities() libvirt API, versions 4.x.x before 4.10.1 and 5.x.x before 5.4.1, accepts an "emulatorbin" argument to specify the program providing emulation for a domain. Since v1.2.19, libvirt will execute that program to probe the domain's capabilities. Read-only clients could specify an arbitrary path for this argument, causing libvirtd to execute a crafted executable with its own privileges.
CVE-2018-5683 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Qemu and 1 more | 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Qemu and 6 more | 2020-10-15 | 2.1 LOW | 6.0 MEDIUM |
The vga_draw_text function in Qemu allows local OS guest privileged users to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read and QEMU process crash) by leveraging improper memory address validation.
CVE-2018-1000026 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 1 more | 7 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 4 more | 2020-10-15 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 7.7 HIGH |
Linux Linux kernel version at least v4.8 onwards, probably well before contains a Insufficient input validation vulnerability in bnx2x network card driver that can result in DoS: Network card firmware assertion takes card off-line. This attack appear to be exploitable via An attacker on a must pass a very large, specially crafted packet to the bnx2x card. This can be done from an untrusted guest VM..
CVE-2019-14838 | 1 Redhat | 5 Data Grid, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform and 2 more | 2020-10-13 | 4.0 MEDIUM | 4.9 MEDIUM |
A flaw was found in wildfly-core before 7.2.5.GA. The Management users with Monitor, Auditor and Deployer Roles should not be allowed to modify the runtime state of the server
CVE-2019-14910 | 1 Redhat | 1 Keycloak | 2020-10-09 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
A vulnerability was found in keycloak 7.x, when keycloak is configured with LDAP user federation and StartTLS is used instead of SSL/TLS from the LDAP server (ldaps), in this case user authentication succeeds even if invalid password has entered.
CVE-2019-14860 | 1 Redhat | 2 Fuse, Syndesis | 2020-10-09 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 6.5 MEDIUM |
It was found that the Syndesis configuration for Cross-Origin Resource Sharing was set to allow all origins. An attacker could use this lack of protection to conduct phishing attacks and further access unauthorized information.
CVE-2019-11775 | 2 Eclipse, Redhat | 5 Openj9, Enterprise Linux Desktop, Enterprise Linux Server and 2 more | 2020-10-08 | 5.8 MEDIUM | 7.4 HIGH |
All builds of Eclipse OpenJ9 prior to 0.15 contain a bug where the loop versioner may fail to privatize a value that is pulled out of the loop by versioning - for example if there is a condition that is moved out of the loop that reads a field we may not privatize the value of that field in the modified copy of the loop allowing the test to see one value of the field and subsequently the loop to see a modified field value without retesting the condition moved out of the loop. This can lead to a variety of different issues but read out of array bounds is one major consequence of these problems.
CVE-2020-25743 | 2 Qemu, Redhat | 3 Qemu, Enterprise Linux, Openstack Platform | 2020-10-07 | 2.1 LOW | 3.2 LOW |
hw/ide/pci.c in QEMU before 5.1.1 can trigger a NULL pointer dereference because it lacks a pointer check before an ide_cancel_dma_sync call.
CVE-2018-19039 | 3 Grafana, Netapp, Redhat | 7 Grafana, Active Iq Performance Analytics Services, Storagegrid Webscale Nas Bridge and 4 more | 2020-10-04 | 4.0 MEDIUM | 6.5 MEDIUM |
Grafana before 4.6.5 and 5.x before 5.3.3 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary files by leveraging Editor or Admin permissions.
CVE-2019-11249 | 2 Kubernetes, Redhat | 2 Kubernetes, Openshift Container Platform | 2020-10-02 | 5.8 MEDIUM | 6.5 MEDIUM |
The kubectl cp command allows copying files between containers and the user machine. To copy files from a container, Kubernetes runs tar inside the container to create a tar archive, copies it over the network, and kubectl unpacks it on the user’s machine. If the tar binary in the container is malicious, it could run any code and output unexpected, malicious results. An attacker could use this to write files to any path on the user’s machine when kubectl cp is called, limited only by the system permissions of the local user. Kubernetes affected versions include versions prior to 1.13.9, versions prior to 1.14.5, versions prior to 1.15.2, and versions 1.1, 1.2, 1.4, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 1.8, 1.9, 1.10, 1.11, 1.12.
CVE-2019-11247 | 2 Kubernetes, Redhat | 2 Kubernetes, Openshift Container Platform | 2020-10-02 | 6.5 MEDIUM | 8.1 HIGH |
The Kubernetes kube-apiserver mistakenly allows access to a cluster-scoped custom resource if the request is made as if the resource were namespaced. Authorizations for the resource accessed in this manner are enforced using roles and role bindings within the namespace, meaning that a user with access only to a resource in one namespace could create, view update or delete the cluster-scoped resource (according to their namespace role privileges). Kubernetes affected versions include versions prior to 1.13.9, versions prior to 1.14.5, versions prior to 1.15.2, and versions 1.7, 1.8, 1.9, 1.10, 1.11, 1.12.
CVE-2019-10145 | 1 Redhat | 1 Rkt | 2020-10-02 | 6.9 MEDIUM | 7.7 HIGH |
rkt through version 1.30.0 does not isolate processes in containers that are run with `rkt enter`. Processes run with `rkt enter` do not have seccomp filtering during stage 2 (the actual environment in which the applications run). Compromised containers could exploit this flaw to access host resources.
CVE-2019-10165 | 1 Redhat | 1 Openshift Container Platform | 2020-10-02 | 2.1 LOW | 2.3 LOW |
OpenShift Container Platform before version 4.1.3 writes OAuth tokens in plaintext to the audit logs for the Kubernetes API server and OpenShift API server. A user with sufficient privileges could recover OAuth tokens from these audit logs and use them to access other resources.
CVE-2019-10201 | 1 Redhat | 2 Keycloak, Single Sign-on | 2020-10-02 | 5.5 MEDIUM | 8.1 HIGH |
It was found that Keycloak's SAML broker, versions up to 6.0.1, did not verify missing message signatures. If an attacker modifies the SAML Response and removes the <Signature> sections, the message is still accepted, and the message can be modified. An attacker could use this flaw to impersonate other users and gain access to sensitive information.
CVE-2019-11034 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Netapp and 3 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Storage Automation Store and 3 more | 2020-10-02 | 6.4 MEDIUM | 9.1 CRITICAL |
When processing certain files, PHP EXIF extension in versions 7.1.x below 7.1.28, 7.2.x below 7.2.17 and 7.3.x below 7.3.4 can be caused to read past allocated buffer in exif_process_IFD_TAG function. This may lead to information disclosure or crash. |
