CVE-2019-1559 13 Canonical, Debian, F5 and 10 more 90 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Big-ip Access Policy Manager and 87 more 2023-11-07 4.3 MEDIUM 5.9 MEDIUM
If an application encounters a fatal protocol error and then calls SSL_shutdown() twice (once to send a close_notify, and once to receive one) then OpenSSL can respond differently to the calling application if a 0 byte record is received with invalid padding compared to if a 0 byte record is received with an invalid MAC. If the application then behaves differently based on that in a way that is detectable to the remote peer, then this amounts to a padding oracle that could be used to decrypt data. In order for this to be exploitable "non-stitched" ciphersuites must be in use. Stitched ciphersuites are optimised implementations of certain commonly used ciphersuites. Also the application must call SSL_shutdown() twice even if a protocol error has occurred (applications should not do this but some do anyway). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2r (Affected 1.0.2-1.0.2q).
CVE-2019-11479 4 Canonical, F5, Linux and 1 more 21 Ubuntu Linux, Big-ip Access Policy Manager, Big-ip Advanced Firewall Manager and 18 more 2023-11-07 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
Jonathan Looney discovered that the Linux kernel default MSS is hard-coded to 48 bytes. This allows a remote peer to fragment TCP resend queues significantly more than if a larger MSS were enforced. A remote attacker could use this to cause a denial of service. This has been fixed in stable kernel releases 4.4.182, 4.9.182, 4.14.127, 4.19.52, 5.1.11, and is fixed in commits 967c05aee439e6e5d7d805e195b3a20ef5c433d6 and 5f3e2bf008c2221478101ee72f5cb4654b9fc363.
CVE-2019-10161 2 Canonical, Redhat 5 Ubuntu Linux, Enterprise Linux, Libvirt and 2 more 2023-11-07 7.2 HIGH 7.8 HIGH
It was discovered that libvirtd before versions 4.10.1 and 5.4.1 would permit read-only clients to use the virDomainSaveImageGetXMLDesc() API, specifying an arbitrary path which would be accessed with the permissions of the libvirtd process. An attacker with access to the libvirtd socket could use this to probe the existence of arbitrary files, cause denial of service or cause libvirtd to execute arbitrary programs.
CVE-2018-1067 1 Redhat 4 Enterprise Linux, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform, Undertow and 1 more 2023-11-07 5.8 MEDIUM 6.1 MEDIUM
In Undertow before versions 7.1.2.CR1, 7.1.2.GA it was found that the fix for CVE-2016-4993 was incomplete and Undertow web server is vulnerable to the injection of arbitrary HTTP headers, and also response splitting, due to insufficient sanitization and validation of user input before the input is used as part of an HTTP header value.
CVE-2018-10237 3 Google, Oracle, Redhat 18 Guava, Banking Payments, Communications Ip Service Activator and 15 more 2023-11-07 4.3 MEDIUM 5.9 MEDIUM
Unbounded memory allocation in Google Guava 11.0 through 24.x before 24.1.1 allows remote attackers to conduct denial of service attacks against servers that depend on this library and deserialize attacker-provided data, because the AtomicDoubleArray class (when serialized with Java serialization) and the CompoundOrdering class (when serialized with GWT serialization) perform eager allocation without appropriate checks on what a client has sent and whether the data size is reasonable.
CVE-2018-11236 4 Gnu, Netapp, Oracle and 1 more 9 Glibc, Data Ontap Edge, Element Software Management and 6 more 2023-11-07 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
stdlib/canonicalize.c in the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) 2.27 and earlier, when processing very long pathname arguments to the realpath function, could encounter an integer overflow on 32-bit architectures, leading to a stack-based buffer overflow and, potentially, arbitrary code execution.
CVE-2017-7536 1 Redhat 7 Enterprise Linux, Hibernate Validator, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform and 4 more 2023-11-07 4.4 MEDIUM 7.0 HIGH
In Hibernate Validator 5.2.x before 5.2.5 final, 5.3.x, and 5.4.x, it was found that when the security manager's reflective permissions, which allows it to access the private members of the class, are granted to Hibernate Validator, a potential privilege escalation can occur. By allowing the calling code to access those private members without the permission an attacker may be able to validate an invalid instance and access the private member value via ConstraintViolation#getInvalidValue().
CVE-2017-7525 5 Debian, Fasterxml, Netapp and 2 more 22 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Oncommand Balance and 19 more 2023-11-07 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
A deserialization flaw was discovered in the jackson-databind, versions before 2.6.7.1, 2.7.9.1 and 2.8.9, which could allow an unauthenticated user to perform code execution by sending the maliciously crafted input to the readValue method of the ObjectMapper.
CVE-2021-3609 3 Linux, Netapp, Redhat 43 Linux Kernel, H300e, H300e Firmware and 40 more 2023-08-11 6.9 MEDIUM 7.0 HIGH
.A flaw was found in the CAN BCM networking protocol in the Linux kernel, where a local attacker can abuse a flaw in the CAN subsystem to corrupt memory, crash the system or escalate privileges. This race condition in net/can/bcm.c in the Linux kernel allows for local privilege escalation to root.
CVE-2021-3669 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Ibm and 2 more 24 Debian Linux, Fedora, Spectrum Copy Data Management and 21 more 2023-07-07 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel. Measuring usage of the shared memory does not scale with large shared memory segment counts which could lead to resource exhaustion and DoS.
CVE-2018-1068 4 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 1 more 10 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 7 more 2023-06-21 7.2 HIGH 6.7 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in the Linux 4.x kernel's implementation of 32-bit syscall interface for bridging. This allowed a privileged user to arbitrarily write to a limited range of kernel memory.
CVE-2018-18559 2 Linux, Redhat 9 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux Desktop, Enterprise Linux Server and 6 more 2023-05-16 6.8 MEDIUM 8.1 HIGH
In the Linux kernel through 4.19, a use-after-free can occur due to a race condition between fanout_add from setsockopt and bind on an AF_PACKET socket. This issue exists because of the 15fe076edea787807a7cdc168df832544b58eba6 incomplete fix for a race condition. The code mishandles a certain multithreaded case involving a packet_do_bind unregister action followed by a packet_notifier register action. Later, packet_release operates on only one of the two applicable linked lists. The attacker can achieve Program Counter control.
CVE-2018-10675 3 Canonical, Linux, Redhat 9 Ubuntu Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 6 more 2023-02-24 7.2 HIGH 7.8 HIGH
The do_get_mempolicy function in mm/mempolicy.c in the Linux kernel before 4.12.9 allows local users to cause a denial of service (use-after-free) or possibly have unspecified other impact via crafted system calls.
CVE-2022-0435 5 Fedoraproject, Linux, Netapp and 2 more 37 Fedora, Linux Kernel, H300e and 34 more 2023-02-14 9.0 HIGH 8.8 HIGH
A stack overflow flaw was found in the Linux kernel's TIPC protocol functionality in the way a user sends a packet with malicious content where the number of domain member nodes is higher than the 64 allowed. This flaw allows a remote user to crash the system or possibly escalate their privileges if they have access to the TIPC network.
CVE-2018-1118 4 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 1 more 7 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 4 more 2023-02-13 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
Linux kernel vhost since version 4.8 does not properly initialize memory in messages passed between virtual guests and the host operating system in the vhost/vhost.c:vhost_new_msg() function. This can allow local privileged users to read some kernel memory contents when reading from the /dev/vhost-net device file.
CVE-2018-1088 3 Debian, Opensuse, Redhat 6 Debian Linux, Leap, Enterprise Linux Server and 3 more 2023-02-13 6.8 MEDIUM 8.1 HIGH
A privilege escalation flaw was found in gluster 3.x snapshot scheduler. Any gluster client allowed to mount gluster volumes could also mount shared gluster storage volume and escalate privileges by scheduling malicious cronjob via symlink.
CVE-2018-14659 2 Debian, Redhat 6 Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Server and 3 more 2023-02-13 4.0 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
The Gluster file system through versions 4.1.4 and 3.1.2 is vulnerable to a denial of service attack via use of the 'GF_XATTR_IOSTATS_DUMP_KEY' xattr. A remote, authenticated attacker could exploit this by mounting a Gluster volume and repeatedly calling 'setxattr(2)' to trigger a state dump and create an arbitrary number of files in the server's runtime directory.
CVE-2018-14660 3 Debian, Gluster, Redhat 6 Debian Linux, Glusterfs, Enterprise Linux and 3 more 2023-02-13 4.0 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in glusterfs server through versions 4.1.4 and 3.1.2 which allowed repeated usage of GF_META_LOCK_KEY xattr. A remote, authenticated attacker could use this flaw to create multiple locks for single inode by using setxattr repetitively resulting in memory exhaustion of glusterfs server node.
CVE-2018-14654 2 Debian, Redhat 6 Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux Server, Enterprise Linux Virtualization and 3 more 2023-02-13 8.5 HIGH 6.5 MEDIUM
The Gluster file system through version 4.1.4 is vulnerable to abuse of the 'features/index' translator. A remote attacker with access to mount volumes could exploit this via the 'GF_XATTROP_ENTRY_IN_KEY' xattrop to create arbitrary, empty files on the target server.
CVE-2018-10874 1 Redhat 4 Ansible Engine, Openstack, Virtualization and 1 more 2023-02-13 4.6 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
In ansible it was found that inventory variables are loaded from current working directory when running ad-hoc command which are under attacker's control, allowing to run arbitrary code as a result.
