CVE-2019-16056 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 10 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 7 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
An issue was discovered in Python through 2.7.16, 3.x through 3.5.7, 3.6.x through 3.6.9, and 3.7.x through 3.7.4. The email module wrongly parses email addresses that contain multiple @ characters. An application that uses the email module and implements some kind of checks on the From/To headers of a message could be tricked into accepting an email address that should be denied. An attack may be the same as in CVE-2019-11340; however, this CVE applies to Python more generally.

CVE-2019-16746 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 2 more | 2023-11-07 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
An issue was discovered in net/wireless/nl80211.c in the Linux kernel through 5.2.17. It does not check the length of variable elements in a beacon head, leading to a buffer overflow.
CVE-2019-16159 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Nic and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Bird and 1 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
BIRD Internet Routing Daemon 1.6.x through 1.6.7 and 2.x through 2.0.5 has a stack-based buffer overflow. The BGP daemon's support for RFC 8203 administrative shutdown communication messages included an incorrect logical expression when checking the validity of an input message. Sending a shutdown communication with a sufficient message length causes a four-byte overflow to occur while processing the message, where two of the overflow bytes are attacker-controlled and two are fixed.
CVE-2019-15807 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 3 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2023-11-07 | 4.7 MEDIUM | 4.7 MEDIUM |
In the Linux kernel before 5.1.13, there is a memory leak in drivers/scsi/libsas/sas_expander.c when SAS expander discovery fails. This will cause a BUG and denial of service.
CVE-2019-16235 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Dino and 1 more | 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Dino and 1 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |

CVE-2019-16786 | 5 Agendaless, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 5 Waitress, Debian Linux, Fedora and 2 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
Waitress through version 1.3.1 would parse the Transfer-Encoding header and only look for a single string value, if that value was not chunked it would fall through and use the Content-Length header instead. According to the HTTP standard Transfer-Encoding should be a comma separated list, with the inner-most encoding first, followed by any further transfer codings, ending with chunked. Requests sent with: "Transfer-Encoding: gzip, chunked" would incorrectly get ignored, and the request would use a Content-Length header instead to determine the body size of the HTTP message. This could allow for Waitress to treat a single request as multiple requests in the case of HTTP pipelining. This issue is fixed in Waitress 1.4.0.
CVE-2019-14817 | 5 Artifex, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 5 Ghostscript, Debian Linux, Fedora and 2 more | 2023-11-07 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 7.8 HIGH |
A flaw was found in, ghostscript versions prior to 9.50, in the .pdfexectoken and other procedures where it did not properly secure its privileged calls, enabling scripts to bypass `-dSAFER` restrictions. A specially crafted PostScript file could disable security protection and then have access to the file system, or execute arbitrary commands.
