CVE-2020-4048 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Wordpress 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Wordpress 2023-11-07 4.9 MEDIUM 5.7 MEDIUM
In affected versions of WordPress, due to an issue in wp_validate_redirect() and URL sanitization, an arbitrary external link can be crafted leading to unintended/open redirect when clicked. This has been patched in version 5.4.2, along with all the previously affected versions via a minor release (5.3.4, 5.2.7, 5.1.6, 5.0.10, 4.9.15, 4.8.14, 4.7.18, 4.6.19, 4.5.22, 4.4.23, 4.3.24, 4.2.28, 4.1.31, 4.0.31, 3.9.32, 3.8.34, 3.7.34).
CVE-2020-4046 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Wordpress 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Wordpress 2023-11-07 3.5 LOW 5.4 MEDIUM
In affected versions of WordPress, users with low privileges (like contributors and authors) can use the embed block in a certain way to inject unfiltered HTML in the block editor. When affected posts are viewed by a higher privileged user, this could lead to script execution in the editor/wp-admin.
CVE-2020-4049 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Wordpress 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Wordpress 2023-11-07 3.5 LOW 2.4 LOW
In affected versions of WordPress, when uploading themes, the name of the theme folder can be crafted in a way that could lead to JavaScript execution in /wp-admin on the themes page. This does require an admin to upload the theme, and is low severity self-XSS.
CVE-2020-4050 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Wordpress 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Wordpress 2023-11-07 6.0 MEDIUM 3.1 LOW
In affected versions of WordPress, misuse of the `set-screen-option` filter's return value allows arbitrary user meta fields to be saved. It does require an admin to install a plugin that would misuse the filter. Once installed, it can be leveraged by low privileged users.
CVE-2020-5260 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more 2023-11-07 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
Affected versions of Git have a vulnerability whereby Git can be tricked into sending private credentials to a host controlled by an attacker. Git uses external "credential helper" programs to store and retrieve passwords or other credentials from secure storage provided by the operating system. Specially-crafted URLs that contain an encoded newline can inject unintended values into the credential helper protocol stream, causing the credential helper to retrieve the password for one server (e.g., good.example.com) for an HTTP request being made to another server (e.g., evil.example.com), resulting in credentials for the former being sent to the latter. There are no restrictions on the relationship between the two, meaning that an attacker can craft a URL that will present stored credentials for any host to a host of their choosing. The vulnerability can be triggered by feeding a malicious URL to git clone. However, the affected URLs look rather suspicious; the likely vector would be through systems which automatically clone URLs not visible to the user, such as Git submodules, or package systems built around Git. The problem has been patched in the versions published on April 14th, 2020, going back to v2.17.x. Anyone wishing to backport the change further can do so by applying commit 9a6bbee (the full release includes extra checks for git fsck, but that commit is sufficient to protect clients against the vulnerability). The patched versions are: 2.17.4, 2.18.3, 2.19.4, 2.20.3, 2.21.2, 2.22.3, 2.23.2, 2.24.2, 2.25.3, 2.26.1.

CVE-2020-4031 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 2 more 2023-11-07 4.3 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
In FreeRDP before version 2.1.2, there is a use-after-free in gdi_SelectObject. All FreeRDP clients using compatibility mode with /relax-order-checks are affected. This is fixed in version 2.1.2.
CVE-2020-5313 4 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 1 more 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 1 more 2023-11-07 5.8 MEDIUM 7.1 HIGH
libImaging/FliDecode.c in Pillow before 6.2.2 has an FLI buffer overflow.
CVE-2020-5208 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Ipmitool Project and 1 more 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Ipmitool and 1 more 2023-11-07 6.5 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
It's been found that multiple functions in ipmitool before 1.8.19 neglect proper checking of the data received from a remote LAN party, which may lead to buffer overflows and potentially to remote code execution on the ipmitool side. This is especially dangerous if ipmitool is run as a privileged user. This problem is fixed in version 1.8.19.
CVE-2020-5258 3 Debian, Linuxfoundation, Oracle 10 Debian Linux, Dojo, Communications Application Session Controller and 7 more 2023-11-07 5.0 MEDIUM 7.7 HIGH
In affected versions of dojo (NPM package), the deepCopy method is vulnerable to Prototype Pollution. Prototype Pollution refers to the ability to inject properties into existing JavaScript language construct prototypes, such as objects. An attacker manipulates these attributes to overwrite, or pollute, a JavaScript application object prototype of the base object by injecting other values. This has been patched in versions 1.12.8, 1.13.7, 1.14.6, 1.15.3 and 1.16.2
CVE-2020-5247 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Puma and 1 more 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Puma and 1 more 2023-11-07 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
In Puma (RubyGem) before 4.3.2 and before 3.12.3, if an application using Puma allows untrusted input in a response header, an attacker can use newline characters (i.e. `CR`, `LF` or`/r`, `/n`) to end the header and inject malicious content, such as additional headers or an entirely new response body. This vulnerability is known as HTTP Response Splitting. While not an attack in itself, response splitting is a vector for several other attacks, such as cross-site scripting (XSS). This is related to CVE-2019-16254, which fixed this vulnerability for the WEBrick Ruby web server. This has been fixed in versions 4.3.2 and 3.12.3 by checking all headers for line endings and rejecting headers with those characters.
CVE-2020-5312 4 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 1 more 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 1 more 2023-11-07 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
libImaging/PcxDecode.c in Pillow before 6.2.2 has a PCX P mode buffer overflow.
