CVE-2019-19391 | 2 Luajit, Moonjit Project | 2 Luajit, Moonjit | 2024-08-05 | 6.4 MEDIUM | 9.1 CRITICAL |
In LuaJIT through 2.0.5, as used in Moonjit before 2.1.2 and other products, debug.getinfo has a type confusion issue that leads to arbitrary memory write or read operations, because certain cases involving valid stack levels and > options are mishandled. NOTE: The LuaJIT project owner states that the debug libary is unsafe by definition and that this is not a vulnerability. When LuaJIT was originally developed, the expectation was that the entire debug library had no security guarantees and thus it made no sense to assign CVEs. However, not all users of later LuaJIT derivatives share this perspective

CVE-2023-42464 | 2 Debian, Netatalk | 2 Debian Linux, Netatalk | 2024-07-01 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
A Type Confusion vulnerability was found in the Spotlight RPC functions in afpd in Netatalk 3.1.x before 3.1.17. When parsing Spotlight RPC packets, one encoded data structure is a key-value style dictionary where the keys are character strings, and the values can be any of the supported types in the underlying protocol. Due to a lack of type checking in callers of the dalloc_value_for_key() function, which returns the object associated with a key, a malicious actor may be able to fully control the value of the pointer and theoretically achieve Remote Code Execution on the host. This issue is similar to CVE-2023-34967.
CVE-2024-5597 | 1 Fujielectric | 1 Monitouch V-sft | 2024-06-12 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
Fuji Electric Monitouch V-SFTÂ is vulnerable to a type confusion, which could cause a crash or code execution.
CVE-2024-25575 | 2024-04-30 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH
A type confusion vulnerability vulnerability exists in the way Foxit Reader 2024.1.0.23997 handles a Lock object. A specially crafted Javascript code inside a malicious PDF document can trigger this vulnerability, which can lead to memory corruption and result in arbitrary code execution. An attacker needs to trick the user into opening the malicious file to trigger this vulnerability. Exploitation is also possible if a user visits a specially crafted, malicious site if the browser plugin extension is enabled.
CVE-2023-28575 | 1 Qualcomm | 120 205, 205 Firmware, 215 and 117 more | 2024-04-12 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
The cam_get_device_priv function does not check the type of handle being returned (device/session/link). This would lead to invalid type usage if a wrong handle is passed to it.
CVE-2023-38073 | 1 Siemens | 3 Jt2go, Teamcenter Visualization, Tecnomatix Plant Simulation | 2024-02-16 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
