CVE-2019-15027 | 1 Mediatek | 6 Mt6577, Mt6577 Firmware, Mt6625 and 3 more | 2020-08-24 | 10.0 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
The MediaTek Embedded Multimedia Card (eMMC) subsystem for Android on MT65xx, MT66xx, and MT8163 SoC devices allows attackers to execute arbitrary commands as root via shell metacharacters in a filename under /data, because clear_emmc_nomedia_entry in platform/mt6577/external/meta/emmc/meta_clr_emmc.c invokes 'system("/system/bin/rm -r /data/' followed by this filename upon an eMMC clearance from a Meta Mode boot. NOTE: compromise of Fire OS on the Amazon Echo Dot would require a second hypothetical vulnerability that allows creation of the required file under /data.

Citrix SD-WAN 10.2.x before 10.2.3 and NetScaler SD-WAN 10.0.x before 10.0.8 have Improper Input Validation (issue 4 of 6).
CVE-2019-1576 | 1 Paloaltonetworks | 1 Pan-os | 2020-08-24 | 6.5 MEDIUM | 8.8 HIGH |
Command injection in PAN-0S 9.0.2 and earlier may allow an authenticated attacker to gain access to a remote shell in PAN-OS, and potentially run with the escalated user’s permissions.
CVE-2019-13128 | 1 Dlink | 2 Dir-823g, Dir-823g Firmware | 2020-08-24 | 9.0 HIGH | 8.8 HIGH |
An issue was discovered on D-Link DIR-823G devices with firmware 1.02B03. There is a command injection in HNAP1 (exploitable with Authentication) via shell metacharacters in the IPAddress or Gateway field to SetStaticRouteSettings.
CVE-2019-9121 | 1 Motorola | 4 C1, C1 Firmware, M2 and 1 more | 2020-08-24 | 10.0 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
An issue was discovered on Motorola C1 and M2 devices with firmware 1.01 and 1.07 respectively. This issue is a Command Injection allowing a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code, and get a root shell. A command Injection vulnerability allows attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands via a crafted /HNAP1 POST request. This occurs when any HNAP API function triggers a call to the system function with untrusted input from the request body for the SetSmartQoSSettings API function, as demonstrated by shell metacharacters in the smartqos_priority_devices field.
CVE-2019-13139 | 1 Docker | 1 Docker | 2020-08-24 | 4.6 MEDIUM | 8.4 HIGH |
In Docker before 18.09.4, an attacker who is capable of supplying or manipulating the build path for the "docker build" command would be able to gain command execution. An issue exists in the way "docker build" processes remote git URLs, and results in command injection into the underlying "git clone" command, leading to code execution in the context of the user executing the "docker build" command. This occurs because git ref can be misinterpreted as a flag.
CVE-2018-5265 | 1 Ui | 2 Edgeos, Erlite-3 | 2020-08-24 | 6.5 MEDIUM | 7.2 HIGH |
Ubiquiti EdgeOS 1.9.1 on EdgeRouter Lite devices allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code with admin credentials, because /opt/vyatta/share/vyatta-cfg/templates/system/static-host-mapping/host-name/node.def does not sanitize the 'alias' or 'ips' parameter for shell metacharacters.
CVE-2019-5167 | 1 Wago | 2 Pfc200 Firmware, Pfc 200 | 2020-08-24 | 7.2 HIGH | 7.8 HIGH |
An exploitable command injection vulnerability exists in the iocheckd service ‘I/O-Check’ function of the WAGO PFC 200 version 03.02.02(14). At 0x1e3f0 the extracted dns value from the xml file is used as an argument to /etc/config-tools/edit_dns_server %s dns-server-nr=%d dns-server-name=<contents of dns node> using sprintf(). This command is later executed via a call to system(). This is done in a loop and there is no limit to how many dns entries will be parsed from the xml file.
CVE-2019-15348 | 1 Tecno-mobile | 1 Tecno\/h612\/tecno-id5a\ | 2020-08-24 | 7.2 HIGH | 7.8 HIGH |
The Tecno Camon Android device with a build fingerprint of TECNO/H612/TECNO-ID5a:8.1.0/O11019/F-180828V106:user/release-keys contains a pre-installed platform app with a package name of com.lovelyfont.defcontainer (versionCode=7, versionName=7.0.11). This app contains an exported service named com.lovelyfont.manager.FontCoverService that allows any app co-located on the device to supply arbitrary commands via shell script to be executed as the system user that are triggered by writing an attacker-selected message to the logcat log. This app cannot be disabled by the user and the attack can be performed by a zero-permission app. Executing commands as the system user can allow a third-party app to video record the user's screen, factory reset the device, obtain the user's notifications, read the logcat logs, inject events in the Graphical User Interface (GUI), and obtains the user's text messages, and more. Executing commands as the system user can allow a third-party app to factory reset the device, obtain the user's notifications, read the logcat logs, inject events in the GUI, change the default Input Method Editor (IME) (e.g., keyboard) with one contained within the attacking app that contains keylogging functionality, and obtains the user's text messages, and more.
CVE-2018-9086 | 1 Lenovo | 8 Thinkserver Rd340, Thinkserver Rd340 Firmware, Thinkserver Rd440 and 5 more | 2020-08-24 | 6.5 MEDIUM | 7.2 HIGH |
In some Lenovo ThinkServer-branded servers, a command injection vulnerability exists in the BMC firmware download command. This allows a privileged user to download and execute arbitrary code inside the BMC. This can only be exploited by authorized privileged users.
CVE-2019-20488 | 1 Netgear | 2 Wnr1000, Wnr1000 Firmware | 2020-08-24 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
An issue was discovered on NETGEAR WNR1000V4 1.1.0.54 devices. Multiple actions within the web management interface (setup.cgi) are vulnerable to command injection, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands, as demonstrated by shell metacharacters in the sysDNSHost parameter.
CVE-2019-10783 | 1 Isof Project | 1 Isof | 2020-08-24 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
All versions including 0.0.4 of lsof npm module are vulnerable to Command Injection. Every exported method used by the package uses the exec function to parse user input. |
