An issue was discovered in OpenCV before 3.4.7 and 4.x before 4.1.1. There is an out of bounds read in the function cv::predictOrdered<cv::HaarEvaluator> in modules/objdetect/src/cascadedetect.hpp, which leads to denial of service.
CVE-2019-12958 1 Glyphandcog 1 Xpdfreader 2023-11-07 4.3 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
In Xpdf 4.01.01, a heap-based buffer over-read could be triggered in FoFiType1C::convertToType0 in fofi/FoFiType1C.cc when it is trying to access the second privateDicts array element, because the privateDicts array has only one element allocated.
CVE-2019-13110 4 Canonical, Debian, Exiv2 and 1 more 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Exiv2 and 1 more 2023-11-07 4.3 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
A CiffDirectory::readDirectory integer overflow and out-of-bounds read in Exiv2 through 0.27.1 allows an attacker to cause a denial of service (SIGSEGV) via a crafted CRW image file.
CVE-2019-11455 4 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 1 more 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 1 more 2023-11-07 5.5 MEDIUM 8.1 HIGH
A buffer over-read in Util_urlDecode in util.c in Tildeslash Monit before 5.25.3 allows a remote authenticated attacker to retrieve the contents of adjacent memory via manipulation of GET or POST parameters. The attacker can also cause a denial of service (application outage).
CVE-2019-11473 1 Graphicsmagick 1 Graphicsmagick 2023-11-07 4.3 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
coders/xwd.c in GraphicsMagick 1.3.31 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read and application crash) by crafting an XWD image file, a different vulnerability than CVE-2019-11008 and CVE-2019-11009.
CVE-2019-11372 2 Fedoraproject, Mediaarea 2 Fedora, Mediainfo 2023-11-07 4.3 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
An out-of-bounds read in MediaInfoLib::File__Tags_Helper::Synched_Test in Tag/File__Tags.cpp in MediaInfoLib in MediaArea MediaInfo 18.12 leads to a crash.
CVE-2019-12529 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 2 more 2023-11-07 4.3 MEDIUM 5.9 MEDIUM
An issue was discovered in Squid 2.x through 2.7.STABLE9, 3.x through 3.5.28, and 4.x through 4.7. When Squid is configured to use Basic Authentication, the Proxy-Authorization header is parsed via uudecode. uudecode determines how many bytes will be decoded by iterating over the input and checking its table. The length is then used to start decoding the string. There are no checks to ensure that the length it calculates isn't greater than the input buffer. This leads to adjacent memory being decoded as well. An attacker would not be able to retrieve the decoded data unless the Squid maintainer had configured the display of usernames on error pages.
CVE-2019-13283 2 Fedoraproject, Glyphandcog 2 Fedora, Xpdfreader 2023-11-07 6.8 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
In Xpdf 4.01.01, a heap-based buffer over-read could be triggered in strncpy from FoFiType1::parse in fofi/FoFiType1.cc because it does not ensure the source string has a valid length before making a fixed-length copy. It can, for example, be triggered by sending a crafted PDF document to the pdftotext tool. It allows an attacker to use a crafted pdf file to cause Denial of Service or an information leak, or possibly have unspecified other impact.
CVE-2019-13286 2 Fedoraproject, Glyphandcog 2 Fedora, Xpdfreader 2023-11-07 4.3 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
In Xpdf 4.01.01, there is a heap-based buffer over-read in the function JBIG2Stream::readTextRegionSeg() located at JBIG2Stream.cc. It can, for example, be triggered by sending a crafted PDF document to the pdftoppm tool. It might allow an attacker to cause Information Disclosure.
CVE-2019-12972 3 Canonical, Gnu, Opensuse 3 Ubuntu Linux, Binutils, Leap 2023-11-07 4.3 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
An issue was discovered in the Binary File Descriptor (BFD) library (aka libbfd), as distributed in GNU Binutils 2.32. There is a heap-based buffer over-read in _bfd_doprnt in bfd.c because elf_object_p in elfcode.h mishandles an e_shstrndx section of type SHT_GROUP by omitting a trailing '\0' character.
CVE-2019-13616 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more 13 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 10 more 2023-11-07 5.8 MEDIUM 8.1 HIGH
SDL (Simple DirectMedia Layer) through 1.2.15 and 2.x through 2.0.9 has a heap-based buffer over-read in BlitNtoN in video/SDL_blit_N.c when called from SDL_SoftBlit in video/SDL_blit.c.
CVE-2019-13115 5 Debian, F5, Fedoraproject and 2 more 7 Debian Linux, Traffix Systems Signaling Delivery Controller, Fedora and 4 more 2023-11-07 5.8 MEDIUM 8.1 HIGH
In libssh2 before 1.9.0, kex_method_diffie_hellman_group_exchange_sha256_key_exchange in kex.c has an integer overflow that could lead to an out-of-bounds read in the way packets are read from the server. A remote attacker who compromises a SSH server may be able to disclose sensitive information or cause a denial of service condition on the client system when a user connects to the server. This is related to an _libssh2_check_length mistake, and is different from the various issues fixed in 1.8.1, such as CVE-2019-3855.
CVE-2019-12220 1 Libsdl 2 Sdl2 Image, Simple Directmedia Layer 2023-11-07 4.3 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
An issue was discovered in libSDL2.a in Simple DirectMedia Layer (SDL) 2.0.9 when used in conjunction with libSDL2_image.a in SDL2_image 2.0.4. There is an out-of-bounds read in the SDL function SDL_FreePalette_REAL at video/SDL_pixels.c.
